Yarış pilotu Gabriel Bortoleto

Gabriel Bortoleto is a Brazilian racing driver who is quickly making a name for himself in the world of motorsport. Born on October 14, 2004, in Osasco, São Paulo, Bortoleto began karting at the age of seven, demonstrating early talent and passion for racing. With support from his family, including his father, Lincoln Oliveira, who is involved in Brazilian motor racing, Gabriel moved to Europe at age eleven to pursue a professional career. He achieved success in karting, finishing third in the 2018 European and World Championships in the OKJ category.

Bortoleto transitioned to single-seaters in 2020, competing in the Italian F4 Championship. He quickly adapted, securing multiple podiums and a win in his rookie season. He continued his ascent through the ranks, racing in the Formula Regional European Championship and Formula Regional Asian Championship, achieving podiums and victories along the way. In 2023, Bortoleto joined Trident for the FIA Formula 3 Championship and dominated the season, winning the championship with a significant points lead.

Following his F3 success, Gabriel joined the McLaren Driver Development Programme in October 2023. In 2024, he won the Formula 2 championship with Invicta Racing in his rookie year. Currently, Bortoleto is contracted by Sauber to compete in Formula 1 for the 2025 season, fulfilling his dream of racing at the pinnacle of motorsport. He will be racing alongside Nico Hulkenberg, carrying the hopes of a nation as the first Brazilian to compete full-time since Felipe Massa in 2017.
