Yasuo Senna Iriawan is an Indonesian racing driver born on November 1, 1996. Senna, now 28 years old, comes from a racing family, following in the footsteps of his late grandfather and father, who were also racers. In his early career, he was a member of the Lotus Racing Young Driver Development Program, showcasing his potential on the international stage.
Iriawan's early successes came in karting. In 2011, he participated in several national and international karting events, including the World Series Karting (WSK) Master in Italy, the AKOC 2011 championship, the Indonesian National Championship, and the CIK-FIA Karting Academy U-15. His achievements in karting include winning the Indonesian National Championship Cadet 60 class in 2008, finishing third in the Indonesian National Championship Junior Class (Rotax Max Junior) in 2009, and winning both the Indonesian National Championship Junior Open Class (KF3) and the Asian Karting Open Championship Junior Open Class (KF3) in 2010.
Iriawan has also competed in the Renault Clio Cup China series. He is listed as Silver category driver by the FIA. With experience in national and regional karting, Senna aimed to emulate the success of fellow Indonesian racers like Rio Haryanto and Sean Gelael in European racing series.
