William Orton

William Orton is a rising talent in the United Kingdom's racing scene. Born and bred in the UK, Orton began his motorsport journey at a young age, quickly demonstrating a natural aptitude for speed and competition. He currently competes in the Mini Challenge JCW Series, which supports the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), a high-profile platform in UK motorsport. Orton's career has been marked by consistent progress and a drive to excel.

Orton's racing achievements include winning the JCW Mini Challenge Rookie Champion and Vice Overall Champion titles. In the Ginetta GT5 series in 2021/2022, he secured multiple race wins and podium finishes, ending the 2022 season in fourth place overall. He was also the Fiesta Junior Vice Champion & Rookie Champion in 2020. Before that, he gained experience in karting, winning the SKRC Overall Champion and Winter Champion in the Junior X30 category in 2020. He was also the Shenington Overall and Winter Champion in Junior X30 in 2020. In 2019, Orton became the ROK Super One British Champion in Junior ROK and represented GBR at the ROK Superfinals in Italy. In 2025, Orton is listed as an instructor with the Association of Racing Driver Schools (ARDS) at Silverstone Circuit.

In 2024, Orton participated in Rounds 7 & 8 of the Clio Cup Great Britain season. Despite driving the LDR Performance Tuning Renault Clio Gen V II for the first time during Friday testing, he qualified fastest and won both races. Orton also competes in the British GT Championship, driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo for Forsetti Motorsport. His move to British GT highlights his ambition to compete in one of the UK's most prestigious motorsport championships.
