Tyler Cooke, born on August 18, 1994, is an American racing driver hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina. Cooke's passion for motorsports ignited early, influenced by his grandfather's late-model team. He began his racing journey in go-karts, demonstrating promise at a young age with wins at the St. Lucie Dirt Go Kart track. He is a four-time pro shifter kart champion at the Homestead Karting facility.
Cooke's career progressed through various series, including the MAZDA MX5 series, before achieving his goal of full-time competition in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series in 2012 with Freedom Autosport. He then spent six seasons with BimmerWorld Racing, achieving multiple wins, podiums, pole positions, and two championship trophies. In 2019, he raced for eEuroparts.com ROWE racing in the #2 Audi R8 LMS GT4. In 2021, Cooke made his GT3 debut with Leipert Motorsports. More recently, he has participated in European circuits, including the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
Beyond racing, Cooke is also a driving coach and instructor. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11, Tyler is an advocate and role model for young people living with diabetes, proving that it doesn't have to hinder their dreams.
