Thomas "Tommy" Erdos, born on October 30, 1963, is a highly accomplished Brazilian racing driver with a career primarily based in Great Britain and Europe. Erdos has built a reputation for setting impressive lap times, regardless of the vehicle he's piloting. His career began in single-seaters, where he quickly found success, finishing as runner-up in the British Formula First Championship in 1988 with multiple podiums and race wins. He further solidified his talent by winning the British Formula Renault Championship in 1990, earning praise from Nigel Mansell, who touted him as a future champion.
Erdos transitioned to GT and sportscar racing in 1995, marking his Le Mans debut with Team Marcos. His performance in challenging conditions, outpacing many competitors, secured his future in Le Mans and sportscar racing. He has competed in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans multiple times, achieving LMP2 class wins in 2005 and 2006. Other highlights include his Daytona 24 Hours debut in 2002 where he recorded the fastest lap in his class, and winning the 2002 British GT Championship, along with the Top Gun Trophy.
