Steve Mcculley

Steve McCulley is a racing driver hailing from the United Kingdom, whose journey to the motorsport world is as inspiring as his performances on the track. Beyond racing, McCulley is a multi-award-winning innovator, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker.

McCulley's path to racing is unique. He first served as a Royal Marine Commando, undertaking deployments across the globe, including Northern Ireland, the Balkans, Sierra Leone, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In 2011, his military career was abruptly cut short when an IED explosion left him with severe injuries. Following a medically induced coma and a lengthy rehabilitation, McCulley displayed incredible resilience, embarking on a new chapter.

During his rehabilitation, Steve founded LIOS Bikes, a company specializing in custom carbon and titanium bikes. He also transitioned into the world of competitive motorsport, showcasing his talent and determination behind the wheel. McCulley's racing experience includes competing in Caterham, MX5, Lotus, and British GT classes. He has achieved a significant podium rate at various tracks throughout the UK and Europe, including Donington, Oulton Park, Brands Hatch, and Silverstone. McCulley has also raced for Invictus Games Racing, a collaboration with the Invictus Games Foundation, and has been associated with Mission Motorsport, a motorsport charity supporting service members. He is also a qualified racing instructor.
