Simon Trummer

Simon Trummer, born on June 8, 1989, is a Swiss racing driver with a diverse career spanning various motorsport categories. Trummer began his motorsport journey in karting, where he finished second in the Swiss Junior Championship in 2003. He transitioned to single-seaters in 2006, competing in Formula Lista Junior before progressing through Formula Renault ranks, securing a runner-up position in the Formule Renault 2.0 Suisse championship in 2008.

Trummer stepped up to the GP3 Series in 2010 with Jenzer Motorsport and later moved to MW Arden in 2011. He then entered the GP2 Series in 2012 with Arden International, continuing in the series with Rapax in subsequent years. In recent years, Trummer has focused on endurance racing, participating in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the IMSA SportsCar Championship, and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). He achieved notable results, including a victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring and a seventh-place finish at Le Mans as the best Pro-Am team.

Throughout his career, Simon Trummer has demonstrated versatility and adaptability, competing in both single-seater and sports car racing. He has secured multiple podiums and wins in various series, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport. As of 2023, he was associated with PR1 Motorsports Mathiasen in FIA WEC, holding a Gold FIA driver categorization.
