Shehan Chandrasoma is an American race car driver making a name for himself in motorsports. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, his passion for cars ignited at a young age. Chandrasoma's professional debut came in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series in 2022. He achieved a significant milestone early in his career, securing first place in the AM (amateur) class at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America race at NOLA Motorsports Park.
Chandrasoma's racing journey includes participation in the Formula 4 United States Championship. Showing his commitment to continuous improvement, he rejoined Group-A Racing to further develop his skills and build upon his relationship with the team, with the goal of racing full-time. Beyond racing, Chandrasoma is an accomplished cellist and pianist, and an Eagle Scout. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Westlake High School and is currently attending Baylor University, where he balances his racing career with academic excellence. His long-term goals include continuing to race in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series as a professional driver and participating in the World Championship.
