Sarah Moore

Sarah Claire Moore, born on October 22, 1993, is a British racing driver who has been making waves in motorsport since her early teens. Hailing from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Moore's career began in karting at the age of four, eventually progressing to the Ginetta Junior Championship, which she won in 2009. This victory marked her as the first female driver to win a TOCA-sanctioned race and a junior mixed-gender national series in the UK, earning her the British Racing Drivers' Club Rising Star status.

Moore's career boasts numerous achievements, including becoming the first female champion in the Britcar Endurance Championship in 2018. She has also competed in the W Series from 2019 to 2022, achieving a podium finish in Austria in 2021. Beyond racing, Moore is a Driver Ambassador for Racing Pride, an LGBT rights charity, and made history as the first openly LGBTQ+ racing athlete to stand on a Grand Prix podium.

Currently, Moore is using her extensive experience to coach and mentor young female talent. Since 2024, she has been a driver coach for the More Than Equal program, aimed at developing a female Formula One World Champion. She also engineers for Elite Motorsport in the GB4 Championship. Moore's journey and advocacy make her a significant figure in motorsport, inspiring future generations of drivers.
