Sam Maher loughnan

Sam Maher-Loughnan is an accomplished Irish racing driver and precision stunt driver with a diverse background in motorsports and stunt performance. He began his racing career in karting in Ireland and later secured a drive in the UK through a scholarship. In 2006, he gained experience in America with a test and development drive in F2.

Returning to the UK, Maher-Loughnan made a name for himself in club racing, where his car control skills were highly regarded. He transitioned into stunt driving, training with Bobby Ore in Florida. He is a professional stunt driver by trade and has been able to put those same car control techniques to good use in a motorsport environment. He has worked on film sets, television shows, adverts, and live drift and stunt shows. His stunt work includes appearances in productions like "Jeepers Creepers: Reborn," "Trigger Point," and "Badnaam." He is also a presenter at Carwow.

In 2023, Maher-Loughnan partnered with James Wallis and Track Focused to compete in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship with a Mercedes-AMG GT4. The duo had previously achieved success in the GT Cup, winning their GTH class and finishing third overall. Sam is also a race instructor and drifting instructor and runs Drivetac, a stunt driving school that has welcomed an increasing number of racing drivers to its academy in recent years. He holds an A-grade license with the Association of Racing Driver Schools (ARDS) and is associated with Silverstone Circuit.
