Ruben Vaquinhas

Ruben Vaquinhas is a Portuguese racing driver who has quickly made a name for himself in the Iberian Supercars Endurance and Campeonato de Portugal de Velocidade series. In his debut season in motorsport (2023), Vaquinhas initially drove an Araújo Competição McLaren 570S Trophy in the GTC class, sharing the car with Manuel Vistas. He secured a podium finish during his debut.

Driven by a passion for supercars, Vaquinhas upgraded to a brand-new Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, citing his affinity for the British marque and the car's proven competitiveness. He justified his choice by stating that he wanted to compete in cars with performance aligned with the supercars he owns and that offer exceptional safety features. For the final two races of the 2023 season, Vaquinhas teamed up with the experienced Alexandre Martins in the Aston Martin, competing in the GT4 Bronze division. Vaquinhas expressed his excitement about learning from Martins and aiming for good results in their class.

Vaquinhas approaches his racing career with a focus on learning and development, prioritizing gaining experience over solely chasing specific outcomes in his first season.
