Ross Chouest is an American racing driver who has been competing in various GT series. Born on November 22, 1980, Chouest began racing as an independent team in 2022 under the banner of Chouest Povoledo Racing. The team has seen success in a relatively short period, with Chouest himself securing the GT America GT4 Championship in 2022. In 2023, he finished third in the Pirelli GT4 America Pro-Am standings alongside his co-driver, Aaron Povoledo.
In 2024, Chouest and Povoledo advanced to the GT World Challenge America. During a challenging first season in GT3 competition, they achieved a couple of top-five class finishes. Chouest also participated in the GT America series, earning five top-five finishes in the SRO3 class and winning his first career GT America race at Sonoma Raceway.
For the 2025 season, Chouest Povoledo Racing is joining the Corvette Racing family and will field a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R in both the GT World Challenge America powered by AWS Pro-Am category and the GT America powered by AWS sprint series. Chouest will co-drive with Aaron Povoledo in the former and compete solo in the latter, marking a new chapter for the Louisiana-based team.
