Ronald Basso is a French racing driver with a career spanning several racing disciplines. Born on December 21, 1981, Basso has accumulated considerable experience in motorsport, starting with circuit races before venturing into rally racing.
Basso's early successes include multiple victories in the Mitjet 2L series, securing championships in 2009, 2012 and 2013, and runner-up in 2011. He also competed in the Championnat de France Supertourisme, finishing 4th in 2014 and 5th in 2015. His rally debut came in the 2011 Dakar Rally. He participated in team activities as a test driver for Team Land Cruiser (TLC) from 2015 and onwards and joined as a TLC driver in 2021.
More recently, Basso has been active in the GT circuit, participating in the Championnat de France FFSA GT, also known as GT4 France. Driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, he partners with Clément Dub as part of the Racing Spirit of Léman team. Throughout his career, Basso has achieved considerable success, with over 20 wins and numerous podium finishes in various racing series. As of 2024, he has 102 starts, 21 wins, 35 podiums, 5 pole positions, and 12 fastest laps.
