Richard Meaden, born on March 4, 1971, is a British racing driver and motoring journalist. He is best known for his work as a contributing editor for evo Magazine, where he reviews and road tests high-end sports cars. However, Meaden also has a long and varied racing career.
Meaden's racing career began in 1993, and a year later he entered the Volkswagen Vento VR6 Challenge. Over the next decade, he gained extensive track experience in various one-make series, including those run by Ginetta, Vauxhall, Renault, and Porsche. His first endurance race was the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he joined the Maserati factory team in 2006 and later raced for Aston Martin.
Beyond Europe, Meaden has participated in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2007 and 2008, and in 2011, he set a new speed record at the Bonneville Speed Week.
