Pierre-Louis Chovet is a French racing driver born on April 11, 2002, in Avignon. Chovet's motorsport journey began in karting, where he quickly demonstrated his talent. He secured the title in the PACA-Corsica region's cadet category in 2015 and finished second in the French Cup in Cadets the following year. Advised by Soheil Ayari, Chovet entered the French Junior Karting Championship, organized by the FFSA, where all drivers compete on equal terms. He won the French Junior Championship ahead of other drivers.
Chovet transitioned to single-seaters in 2017, making a guest appearance in the French F4 Championship. In 2018, he participated full-time in the series, showcasing his potential. He later competed in the Euroformula Open Championship in 2019. In 2020, Chovet joined Van Amersfoort Racing in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he achieved a race win at Catalunya and finished fifth overall. He also made his FIA Formula 3 Championship debut with Hitech Grand Prix, replacing Max Fewtrell and even scoring a sixth-place finish at Monza.
In 2023, Chovet stepped up to full-time GT3 racing, joining Oregon Team in the International GT Open, alongside Maximilian Paul. The duo achieved considerable success, winning four races and securing three additional podium finishes, ultimately finishing fourth in the championship. They also earned six pole positions, with Chovet contributing two of them. Throughout his career, Chovet has demonstrated versatility by participating in various series, including Eurocup-3 and a return to the Formula Regional European Championship with Saintéloc Racing.
