Pierre Kleinubing, born on October 24, 1974, is a highly accomplished racing driver with a career spanning several decades. Originally from Brazil, where he was a three-time karting champion (1989-1991) and a two-time Brazilian Touring Car champion (1992 and 1995), Kleinubing made his U.S. debut in 1996 with IMSA. The following year, he joined Peter Cunningham's RealTime Racing team, marking the beginning of a long and successful partnership.
Kleinubing's career boasts numerous touring car championships, including being named the World Challenge Rookie-of-the-Year in his first year, while winning the T2 category championship. He secured back-to-back SPEED Touring Car titles in 2000 and 2001, and added his fourth and fifth championships in 2006 and 2009. Competing in both IMSA and World Challenge, Kleinubing has earned a reputation as one of the most decorated touring car racers, particularly known for his association with Acura and Honda through RealTime Racing.
