Nathan Murray is an Australian racing driver with a passion for motorsport and a diverse background. Born and raised in Geelong, Victoria, Murray juggles his racing career with his responsibilities as the Managing Director of Morris Finance, a national finance company.
Murray's journey into motorsport began in 2019 in the Porsche Michelin Cup, where he quickly made his mark with five podium finishes in his first season. He currently participates in the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia in the Pro-Am class, driving car number five for The Garage One race team. He chose the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge because of his enjoyment of driving Porsches. Murray also sponsors several V8 Supercar teams.
Beyond the track, Murray is deeply involved in his community. He is a member and mentor with The Captain's Club at the Geelong Football Club and supports various organizations associated with Supercars, AFL football, Foodbank, Headspace, and Rotary. Murray's determination extends beyond racing; he overcame a doctor's prediction that he would never run again after a back injury to complete half marathons.
