Michael Benyahia, born on July 21, 2000, is a Moroccan-American racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. Born in Miami, Florida, to a Moroccan father and a Belgian mother, Benyahia began his racing journey in karting at the age of seven, achieving multiple titles. He transitioned to single-seaters in 2015, competing in the French F4 Championship. The following year, he showcased significant improvement, securing a victory and several podium finishes, ultimately finishing third in the championship.
In 2017, Benyahia achieved a significant milestone by winning the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship with R-ace GP. That same year, he joined Venturi Formula E Team as a Development Driver, gaining valuable experience in electric racing. He also explored Formula 3, participating in races and achieving podium finishes. In 2019, Benyahia transitioned to GT racing, achieving multiple podiums. He was selected as a McLaren DDP driver.
