Racing driver John Shen

John Shen is a racing driver hailing from Hong Kong S.A.R., known for his participation in various GT and Porsche racing series. Shen began his racing career relatively late in 2005, dedicating himself to improving his skills and lap times each year. Despite the late start, Shen has become a familiar face in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and other GT events.

Shen has secured a total of 4 podium finishes in his career, with 2 second-place and 2 third-place results out of 16 races and he has participated in prestigious events such as the Spa 24 Hours. Driving for Modena Motorsports, Shen has experience with different generations of Porsche GT3 cars, including the 991 and 992 models, as well as TCR cars.

Openly acknowledging the challenges that come with age in motorsports, Shen focuses on continuous learning and improvement. He emphasizes the importance of adapting to new technologies and driving techniques to maximize his performance. One of Shen's major goals is to secure a podium finish at the Spa 24 Hours, a feat that narrowly escaped him in 2019 due to an unfortunate accident late in the race. His passion for racing is fueled by a desire to achieve this dream, which he also shared with his brother, Wayne.
