Jacob Riegel is a young and promising German racing driver making his mark in the world of GT racing. Born on June 24, 2004, Riegel's career has rapidly progressed through various racing series.
In 2022, at just 18 years old, Riegel competed in the DTM Trophy Series driving an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 for Speed Monkeys, securing three podium finishes. He also participated in the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy in the same year, showcasing his talent within Aston Martin's development program. Prior to this, he gained experience in the GT4 series and the Porsche Sports Cup in his native Germany.
Riegel's career continued to advance as he joined Bullitt Racing, making his GT3 debut in the Asian Le Mans Series. In 2023, he participated in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, driving the #33 Aston Martin Vantage in the Silver Cup class alongside Jeff Kingsley and Romain Leroux. His participation in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa marked his first 24-hour race. More recently, in 2024, he has been competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe series. He is certainly one to watch as he continues to develop and climb the ranks in the world of GT racing.
