Racing driver Hugo Bac

Hugo Bac is a rising French racing driver making his mark in the world of GT racing. In 2024, Bac demonstrated his potential in GT4 competition, securing an impressive seven podium finishes, including three victories and four pole positions. For the 2025 season, he has taken on a new challenge, stepping up to the highly competitive PRO-AM category in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.

Bac is racing with the Belgian team BOUTSEN VDS and is supported by the experienced Renaud Kuppens. Kuppens' extensive experience, which includes 31 wins, 55 podiums, and 31 pole positions, makes him a valuable asset to the team. Bac is focusing his energy on performing on the track and actively contributing to the car's development, aiming for ambitious results with his team led by Olivier Boutsen. While he is familiar with some circuits, like his home race at Paul Ricard, he faces challenges on tracks such as Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Barcelona, Misano, and the Nürburgring.

Bac's career began with karting, and in 2022, he transitioned to automobiles, being selected by Aston Martin Racing to join their Driver Academy and the GT4 Championship-winning team, AGS Events. He participated in the FFSA GT Championship in France, standing out as the only driver directly from karting. To prepare for the 2025 Super Trofeo Europe season, Bac underwent rigorous physical and mental training, ensuring he is ready to perform in a more demanding car and championship.
