Harry Mcdonald

Harry McDonald is a rising star in the world of motorsport, hailing from New Zealand. Born in Christchurch, McDonald has quickly made a name for himself through his achievements in various racing disciplines. His career began in karting, where he secured eight wins before transitioning to Formula Ford and the BMW Drivers Championship. In the latter, he showcased his talent by winning the E46 Class as part of the Team Kiwi Racing Scholarship program in 2022.

McDonald's career took an international turn when he signed with Toyota Gazoo Racing Sweden. In 2022, he participated in the GT4 Scandinavia Series, driving a Toyota GR Supra GT4. This opportunity marked a significant step in his career, allowing him to compete on European circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and Anderstorp and Gellerasen in Sweden. In his debut at Spa-Francorchamps, he achieved a second-place finish in the Pro-Am GT4 Scandinavia class, demonstrating his adaptability and skill.

In 2023, Toyota Gazoo Racing Sweden re-signed McDonald for a full season in the GT4 Scandinavia Series. He continued to drive the Toyota GR Supra GT4, now equipped with an Evo update kit. Alongside his European endeavors, McDonald remained active in New Zealand, competing in the BMW Drivers Series and the Formula Open Series with Team Kiwi Racing. He has expressed a desire to further his career in Europe, with aspirations of racing in TCR and Porsche Cup series, and ultimately stepping up to a junior GT3 team. He is supported by Rodin Cars, joining other New Zealanders in the sport backed by the brand, including Liam Lawson and Louis Sharp.
