Frits van Eerd, born on March 25, 1967, is a Dutch entrepreneur and racing driver. Known for his role as the former general manager of Jumbo Groep Holding BV, a prominent supermarket chain in the Netherlands, until September 2022, Van Eerd has also carved a niche for himself in the world of motorsports. He studied business administration in both Utrecht and the United States. In 1992, he joined Jumbo, the family business founded by his father, Karel van Eerd. He started his career as a product manager of the bread department and later became supermarket manager. In 1996, he became general manager at Jumbo and in 2002 he was appointed general manager.

Van Eerd's racing career includes participation in prestigious events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he has competed with his own team, Racing Team Nederland. The team debuted at Le Mans in 2017, achieving their best result in 2018 with a seventh-place finish in the LMP2 class (11th overall). He has had experienced teammates, including Formula One driver Rubens Barrichello and Le Mans winner Jan Lammers. Van Eerd also won the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMP2 Pro/Am category.

Beyond endurance racing, Van Eerd has a diverse background in motorsports, including Formula Renault in the 1990s, rally racing where he became a Dutch champion, and historic Formula 1 cars. He is also the owner of Team VES racing.
