Leo's journey began in Italian Formula Junior 1600, progressing through Formula Renault 2.0, German Formula Three, and the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. In 2009, he competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, securing points at the Motorland Aragón circuit.
