Fabio Luca Scherer, born on June 13, 1999, is a Swiss racing driver who currently competes in endurance racing. Demonstrating early talent, Fabio secured two Swiss karting championships and was named Young Driver of the Year. Scherer began his single-seater career in 2016, participating in Formula 4 series for two seasons. In 2018, he advanced to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, driving for Motopark Academy. The following year, he competed for Charouz Racing System in the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

Since 2021, Scherer has focused on endurance racing, taking part in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), and the IMSA SportsCar Championship. In 2020, Scherer transitioned to sports car racing, driving an Audi RS5 Turbo DTM for Audi Sport Team WRT in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). In 2023, he achieved a significant milestone by winning the Centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans race. He also secured the FIA World Endurance Championship LMP2 vice-champion title. For the 2024 season, Scherer returned to United Autosports, competing in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro class.

Scherer's career highlights include two wins in the FIA World Endurance Championship with United Autosports in 2021, at Spa-Francorchamps and Monza.
