Dominik Farnbacher

Dominik Farnbacher, born on September 26, 1984, in Ansbach, Germany, is a highly accomplished sports car racing driver with a career spanning over two decades. His passion for motorsport ignited early, leading him from karting to Formula BMW Junior in 2001, where he finished ninth in the championship. Transitioning to sports car racing, he initially competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany for his father's team, Farnbacher Racing, and also participated in the Porsche Supercup.

Farnbacher's career highlights include winning the GT class at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2005 with Farnbacher Racing. In 2006, he debuted in the American Le Mans Series, racing at the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans, and made his first appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing second in his class. He continued to achieve success in the American Le Mans Series, securing four wins in 2008 and finishing second in the GT2 drivers' championship. In 2009, he won the Asian Le Mans Series championship.

Beyond these achievements, Farnbacher has demonstrated his skill and versatility by winning the SP7 class at the 2010 24 Hours Nürburgring and setting a production car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in a Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR in 2011.
