Dexter Patterson

Dexter Macham Patterson, born on August 18, 2003, is a British racing driver hailing from Scotland. Patterson's career began in karting at the Trent Valley Kart Club in 2011. He quickly progressed, securing titles in the Super 1 National and Formula Kart Stars series in 2015. The following year, he won the Kartmasters British Grand Prix in the Rotax Mini Max class. 2017 marked a significant milestone, with Patterson triumphing in the Trofeo delle Industrie and claiming the Junior Karting World Championship on his first attempt. He continued karting for two more seasons, notably winning the WSK Super Master Series in 2019. He was also a member of the Sauber Junior Team from 2019 until early 2021.

Transitioning to single-seaters, Patterson debuted in the Formula 4 UAE Championship in 2020 and also competed in the Italian F4 Championship, scoring points in multiple races. In 2021, he advanced to the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship, achieving a podium finish at Brands Hatch and further top-ten results at Donington Park.

Patterson entered the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in 2022, driving an Infiniti Q50 for Laser Tools Racing. He finished 23rd overall and 6th in the Jack Sears Trophy. In 2023, he switched to Team HARD, driving a Cupra Leon and finishing 22nd in the championship, with a best result of sixth at Knockhill. Currently, Dexter Patterson competes in the GT4 European Series for Mahiki Racing.
