Iwasawa began his racing journey in 2020 in the F4 Japanese Championship with Rn-Sports and later moved to Bionic Jack Racing, where he raced until 2022. In 2023, Iwasawa participated in the Super GT series with Yogibo Racing alongside Reimei Ito.
