Pangkalahatang-ideya ng Racer

Hiroshi Hamaguchi, born on October 1, 1976, is a Japanese businessman and racing driver who has made a name for himself in the world of motorsports. A "late bloomer" to racing, Hamaguchi began karting at the age of 32 after a friend introduced him to the sport. Despite his late start, he has achieved success in various racing series, showcasing his talent and determination.

Hamaguchi's career highlights include winning the Porsche Carrera Cup championship gentlemen's class in Japan in 2008, his very first year of racing, where he won six races and achieved pole position in all six. He has also secured victories in Super GT in Japan, the Malaysian Merdekker 12 Hour, and the GT Asia series in 2014 and 2015 driving for McLaren. In 2019, he won the FIA Motorsport Games GT Cup along with Ukyo Sasahara, driving a Lamborghini Huracán EVO GT3. More recently, in 2024, he has competed in the FIA Endurance Trophy - LMGT3 with TF Sport, driving a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

Beyond racing, Hamaguchi is the founder of Hamaguchi Asset Management (HAM), consulting on M&A, PE investment, and real estate asset management in Japan. He also comes from a distinguished family, being a direct descendant of the founder of Yamasa Corporation, a billion-dollar food conglomerate with a history dating back to the Shogun era.
