Bruno Spengler

Bruno Spengler, born on August 23, 1983, is a Canadian racing driver with Alsatian origins. Spengler's career began in karting, racing in both France and Canada before transitioning to French Formula Renault. His talent was quickly recognized, leading to a contract with Mercedes-Benz motorsport. From 2005 to 2011, he competed in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) with Mercedes, achieving runner-up positions in 2006 and 2007.

In 2012, Spengler made a significant move to BMW, joining BMW Team Schnitzer. That year, he achieved a career highlight by winning the DTM championship, marking BMW's return to the series. After a successful DTM career, Spengler shifted his focus to endurance racing in 2020. He has since participated in prestigious events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the IMSA SportsCar Championship, securing a win in the latter. In 2023, he was crowned the Italian GT Sprint champion.

Spengler's versatility extends to Japanese Super GT before parting ways with BMW at the end of 2024. In 2025, Spengler took on a new role as "Pilote Officiel" for Bugatti, succeeding Pierre-Henri Raphanel. Throughout his career, Bruno Spengler has demonstrated his skill and adaptability across various racing disciplines solidifying his status as a respected figure in motorsport.
