Racing driver Benny SANTOSO

Benny Santoso is an Indonesian racing driver who has recently made headlines for his achievements in the TCR Asia Series. In November 2024, he clinched the overall Class Cup title in the series, marking a significant milestone in his career. Santoso competed in the fifth round of the 2024 TCR Asia Series at the Guia Circuit in Macau, driving for Hyundai N Team Z.Speed. Despite finishing second in both races of the series' fifth round, his accumulated points secured him the championship title, surpassing his closest rival, Dypo Fitra. This victory made him the first Indonesian driver to win the TCR Asia Series.

Santoso's success extends beyond the TCR Asia Series. He secured a first-place finish in the third series of the TCR Asia Series 2024 at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, on August 25, 2024. Furthermore, he achieved a 'double winner' title in the second series of the TCR Asia Series 2024 at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, on June 8, 2024. Beyond racing, Santoso is also known as an entrepreneur in the shallot export-import business and hails from Brebes, Central Java.

Santoso's achievements have garnered national recognition, including an invitation to the IMI (Ikatan Motor Indonesia) Awards in Jakarta in December 2024. He was recognized with the IMI Achievement 2024 for his FIA International Achievement in the TCR Asia Series 2024.
