Yasser Shahin, born on September 24, 1976, is an Australian-Palestinian racing driver and businessman. A two-time GT World Challenge Australia champion, Shahin has been actively involved in GT racing since 2018. In 2019, he secured his first major title in the Audi R8 LMS Cup, demonstrating his skill with two wins, five podiums, and a fastest lap across ten races. The Sepang race in Malaysia was a career highlight, where he started second in wet conditions and clinched the win. In 2021, he became the Pro-Am GT World Challenge Australia Champion, achieving six wins and eight podiums in ten races.

Shahin's career reached new heights in 2024 when he became the first LMGT3 category winner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, sharing the victory with Richard Lietz and Morris Schuring in the Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R. The same year, his team also secured a victory at the Bathurst 12 Hour.

Outside of racing, Yasser Shahin is a director of the Peregrine Corporation and co-owner of The Bend Motorsport Park in Adelaide. His contributions extend to promoting motorsport in Australia, enhancing racing facilities, and supporting aspiring drivers. In his personal time, he enjoys gardening and growing his own food.
