Steven Kane

Steven Kane, born on June 5, 1980, is a British racing driver with a diverse and accomplished career spanning various racing disciplines. Hailing from Newtownards, Northern Ireland, Kane's talent was evident early on, culminating in being named the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year in 2001 after a dominant performance in the Junior Formula Ford Zetec championship. This achievement earned him a coveted Formula One test with McLaren.

Kane's career progressed through Formula Three, where he achieved notable results, including a runner-up position in the Scholarship class of the British Formula 3 Championship in 2003 and a third-place overall finish in Spain in 2004. In 2010, Kane showcased his versatility by competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with Airwaves BMW, securing his first BTCC victory at Thruxton and finishing sixth overall in the championship standings.

In recent years, Kane has primarily focused on GT racing, competing in prestigious series such as the Blancpain Endurance Series and the British GT Championship. He has been a part of the M-Sport Bentley team, driving a Bentley Continental GT3. He has also participated in other notable races such as the 12 Hours of Sebring with Dyson Racing.
