Sebastien Chardonnet

Sébastien Chardonnet, born on October 17, 1988, is a French rally driver with a diverse background in motorsports. Before rallying, Chardonnet honed his skills in karting and single-seaters, including Formula Renault. His grandfather, André 'Doudou' Chardonnet, was a racer and a Lancia importer in France with a successful privateer rally team.

Chardonnet's WRC debut came at the 2012 Monte Carlo Rally in a Renault Clio R3. Later that year, he scored his first championship point at the Rallye de France, finishing tenth in a Citroën DS3 WRC. In 2013, supported by Citroën's WRC team, he competed in the WRC-3 championship, winning two events and ultimately securing the title by a narrow margin. In 2014, Chardonnet stepped up to WRC-2, achieving two podium finishes. Beyond driving, Chardonnet has been involved in motorsport as a commentator for television, a developer for the WRC video game series, and manages Chardonnet Automobile, a company focused on historic automobiles.
