Scott Speed

Scott Andrew Speed, born on January 24, 1983, is a versatile American race car driver with experience in various disciplines, including open-wheel, stock car, and rallycross racing. Speed began karting at age 10 and quickly progressed through the ranks, securing the US Formula Russell championship in 2001. In 2003, he competed in the British Formula Three Championship after winning the Red Bull Driver Search program.

Speed made history in 2006 as the first American to race in Formula One since Michael Andretti in 1993, driving for Scuderia Toro Rosso. After F1, Speed transitioned to NASCAR, driving in the Sprint Cup Series for teams like Team Red Bull and Leavine Family Racing. He later found success in rallycross, winning the Global Rallycross Championship three consecutive times from 2015 to 2017 with Andretti Autosport and the Americas Rallycross Championship in 2018.

Throughout his career, Speed has demonstrated his adaptability and skill across different racing formats. Besides Formula One, NASCAR, and Rallycross, he also participated in Formula E and Nitro Rallycross. His achievements include multiple rallycross titles, a gold medal at the 2013 X Games, and a Formula Renault Eurocup title. He continues to be a prominent figure in the world of motorsports, showcasing his talent and competitive spirit in every race.
