Scott Mayer

Scott Mayer, born on August 31, 1964, is an American businessman and former race car driver. While perhaps not a household name in motorsports, Mayer has experience in several racing series, including the IndyCar Series and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Outside of racing, Mayer is a successful businessman, founding the QPS Employment Group in 1985. The company has grown to become one of the largest employment firms in the Midwest, with numerous branches across multiple states.

Mayer's foray into IndyCar saw him participate in three races in 2003 for PDM Racing. While his time in the series was brief, he also attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 in both 2003 and 2005. In sports car racing, Mayer has participated in events such as the 24 Hours of Daytona and the Rolex Sports Car Series, even achieving a best finish of fifth at Road America in 2012.

Interestingly, racing seems to run in the family, as Scott's son, Sam Mayer, has also made a name for himself in the racing world, achieving success in various NASCAR series.
