John Wartique

John Wartique, born on June 25, 1990, is a Belgian racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Wartique's career began in karting in 2003, where he competed until 2008, including participation in the French Karting Championship. He transitioned to sports cars in 2009, achieving second place in the French Peugeot Sport 207 Championship with four podium finishes. He continued in that series through 2011 and also competed in the Renault Clio Cup, securing another podium finish.

In 2012, Wartique shifted his focus to formula racing, joining the GP3 Series with Atech CRS Grand Prix. More recently, Wartique has been a prominent competitor in the European Ferrari Challenge, specifically in the Trofeo Pirelli class. He has driven for teams like Rossocorsa, Formula Racing, and Francorchamps Motors Luxembourg. In 2020-2021, he secured 3rd overall in the Ferrari Challenge Europe - Trofeo Pirelli (Pro) class with one win and four podiums. The following year, he finished 4th in the same series, claiming another win and six podiums.

Wartique has demonstrated a passion for Ferrari and enjoys driving the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo. He has described the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps as his favorite track, praising its challenging nature and high-speed corners. In recent years, Wartique has also participated in rally events, initially with a Ford Escort MKII and later with a Porsche 997 GT3, even securing a class victory. He has also competed in the World Rally Championship-2.
