James Abbott

James Abbott is a British racing driver born on September 28, 1993, in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Abbott's racing career began in 2011, quickly establishing himself in the Radical racing scene. He secured the Radical Cup UK Championship in his debut year. His early successes also include winning the Radical European Masters in 2013.

Abbott's career progressed into GT racing, where he claimed the GT Open GT Cup title in 2015. He also achieved a 3rd place in the Radical European Masters in 2014 and finished 6th in the MSA Formula Ford, securing two wins in the same year. Beyond driving, Abbott is also an engineer.

In 2017, James partnered with his father, Phil Abbott, who previously co-founded Radical Sportscars, to establish Revolution Race Cars. Their aim was to bring innovation to a broader spectrum of motorsport, creating accessible and high-performance race cars. Together, they possess over 70 years of experience in race car manufacturing.
