David Vidales Ajenjo

David Vidales Ajenjo, born on May 1, 2002, is a Spanish racing driver hailing from León, Spain. Vidales began his motorsport journey in karting at a young age, achieving significant success early in his career. He was crowned Spanish Champion in the Cadet category in both 2013 and 2014. His karting achievements also include multiple world runner-up titles in the OK Junior (2016), OK (2017), and KZ2 (2019) categories.

Transitioning to single-seater racing, Vidales quickly made an impact, winning his first two races in the Formula Renault series, despite having limited car experience and not yet possessing a driving license. In 2022, he competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing, securing a victory in the Spanish round. In 2023, he finished ninth in Super Fórmula Lights with B-Max Racing, earning a podium finish.

More recently, Vidales has ventured into GT racing. Since 2024, he has been competing in the GT World Challenge Europe with AF Corse, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3. His career is managed by MIM, ensuring a focus on his development and performance. Vidales has expressed a fondness for the Imola circuit and currently competes in the FANATEC GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE.
