Calder McWhinney is an American racing driver with experience in various racing disciplines. McWhinney's career has seen him participate in both open-wheel and sports car racing.

McWhinney has a background in karting, achieving success at the Los Angeles Karting Championship. Transitioning to open-wheel racing, he competed in the FormulaSPEED class. In 2018, McWhinney achieved podium finishes in all eight FPU (Formula 4) races he entered. In 2019, McWhinney tested with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports in their Ligier JS P3, signaling a potential move into prototype racing.
