Alexander Martin

Alexander Martin, born on April 21, 1987, is a British racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport. He began his career in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain from 2009 to 2011, achieving a 7th place finish in the Pro-Am 1 standings in his final year. Martin then transitioned to the Ferrari Challenge Europe, where he competed from 2012 to 2014, securing 4th place overall in 2014.

In 2015, Martin made his debut in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with Motorbase Performance, driving a Ford Focus ST under the Dextra Racing banner. Team Parker Racing eventually took over the Dextra Racing entry. Martin continued in the BTCC in 2016. More recently, he has participated in the British GT Championship, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2) for Team Parker Racing with Charles Bateman in 2023 and in the Le Mans Cup (GT3).

Throughout his career, Martin has demonstrated versatility across different racing disciplines, ranging from GT racing to touring cars. He achieved 2nd in the British GT Championship - GT3 in 2024, as well as 3rd in the GT Cup UK - Overall in 2010.
