Jules GOUNON

Jules Gounon, born on December 31, 1994, is a French racing driver who currently resides in Andorra. The son of former Formula One driver Jean-Marc Gounon, Jules has carved out a successful career in GT racing. Starting in karting at 15, Gounon quickly transitioned to single-seaters, finishing as runner-up in the 2013 French F4 Championship. He then moved to the Formula Renault Eurocup and NEC before switching to GT racing in 2015.

Gounon's career gained significant momentum in 2016 in the ADAC GT Masters. In 2017, he secured the ADAC GT Masters title and won the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa. He also became a Bentley factory driver in 2018, competing in the Blancpain GT Series and Intercontinental GT Challenge. Since 2021, Gounon has achieved considerable success with Mercedes-AMG, including victories at the Spa 24 Hours, Bathurst 12 Hour (2020, 2022, 2023) and the Kyalami 9 Hours. He has also won championships in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Gounon is recognized as a leading name in GT racing, known for his skill in endurance events. In 2025, he is competing as a Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver, including racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
