Freddie Slater, born on August 9, 2008, is a highly promising British racing driver, rapidly making a name for himself in the world of motorsport. Hailing from Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, Slater's journey began in karting at a young age, where he quickly demonstrated exceptional talent, securing nine titles, including the 2020 OK Junior World Championship and the 2021 OK Junior FIA Karting European Championship.

Transitioning to car racing in 2022, Slater entered the Ginetta Junior Winter Series, becoming the youngest-ever champion at just 14 years old. He continued his dominance in the main Ginetta Junior Championship in 2023, winning the title with an impressive 13 victories out of 18 races. In 2023, Slater debuted in single-seaters, participating in British F4 and the Euro 4 Championship. In 2024, he won the Italian F4 Championship with Prema Racing, securing a record-breaking 15 race wins. He also won the Formula 4 UAE Championship in early 2024.

In 2025, Slater is set to compete in the Formula Regional European Championship (FRECA) with Prema Racing and will also participate in selected rounds of the GB3 Championship with Hillspeed. With his exceptional karting and early single-seater successes, Freddie Slater is considered a rising star with the potential to reach the pinnacle of motorsport. He was also nominated for the 2024 British Racing Driver’s Club (BRDC) Young Driver of the Year Award.
