Alexander ABKHAZAVA

Alexander Abkhazava, born on October 28, 2006, is a rising star in the world of motorsports. While he has represented multiple nationalities throughout his career, including Georgian and Russian, he has most recently competed under a Kazakhstani license. In 2025, he is set to drive in Eurocup-3 for MP Motorsport, a team he hopes will propel him to the front of the grid.

Abkhazava's journey in racing began in karting, where he achieved early success, securing a European title in the Rotax Junior category at the Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy in 2019. He transitioned to single-seater racing in 2023, participating in the Formula 4 UAE Championship with R-ace GP and the F4 Spanish Championship with Drivex. His breakthrough year came in 2024 in the Eurocup-3 series with Saintéloc Racing, where he demonstrated his potential with a second-place finish at Spa-Francorchamps and a victory at Algarve. Although his performance dipped in the latter half of the season, he finished ninth overall.

Looking ahead to 2025, Abkhazava aims to build on his experience and challenge for the Eurocup-3 championship with his new team, MP Motorsport. He is determined to be a consistent frontrunner.
