Niklas Lilja

Niklas Lilja, born on November 22, 1984, is a Swedish racing driver renowned for his accomplishments in multiple facets of motorsport. Lilja's career highlights include securing the Swedish Trofeo Abarth title in both 2012 and 2013, followed by clinching the European title in the same series in 2015. In 2017, he participated in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC), driving a Honda Civic TCR for his own team, LMP Engineering.

Beyond his touring car endeavors, Lilja is also recognized as a factory test driver for Koenigsegg Automotive AB. A defining moment in his career arrived in 2017 when he set the land speed record for a production vehicle, piloting a Koenigsegg Agera RS to an average top speed of 277.87 mph (447.19 km/h). This achievement also saw him set several related speed records solidifying his place in automotive history. More recently, he has been competing in the GT4 Scandinavia series.
