Costa began his motorsport journey in karting at the age of ten, securing an impressive fifteen championships over seven years. His early success paved the way for a transition to formula racing, with a debut in the MSA Formula Ford Championship in the United Kingdom in 2009 after receiving a scholarship from Skip Barber Racing School.
Costa's career has seen him compete in several series across the globe, including the Pro Mazda Championship, Formula Abarth, Italian GT Championship, and the Blancpain GT Series Asia. He achieved notable success in the Italian GT Championship, securing the title in 2016.
