Juan manuel Correa

Juan Manuel Correa, born on August 9, 1999, is an American-Ecuadorian racing driver with a career marked by both promising talent and tremendous adversity. Correa began karting professionally in 2008, securing titles in Ecuador and the United States, including the Rotax Max Challenge Junior Champion in 2013. His success led him to Europe at 14, where he competed in the CIK/FIA European Karting Championship and was recruited by the Lotus F1 Team for their Junior Driver Program.

Correa transitioned to single-seater racing in 2016, joining Prema Powerteam in the ADAC Formula 4 and Italian F4 championships. He later progressed to the GP3 Series in 2017 and FIA Formula 2 in 2019. However, his career was tragically interrupted by a severe accident at Spa-Francorchamps in 2019. After a remarkable recovery, Correa returned to racing in 2021, competing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with ART Grand Prix. He has since continued his career in Formula 2 with Van Amersfoort Racing and DAMS Lucas Oil.

In 2025, Correa is set to compete in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with United Autosports. Alongside his single-seater endeavors, he has participated in the European Le Mans Series, securing a race win. His resilience and determination have made him an inspiration, marking one of motorsport's most incredible comeback stories.
