Hiroaki Ishiura

Hiroaki Ishiura, born on April 23, 1981, is a highly accomplished Japanese racing driver with a career spanning multiple top-level motorsport series. Ishiura's success is highlighted by his two Super Formula Championships in 2015 and 2017, both achieved while driving for Cerumo・INGING. Before his Super Formula success, he also secured the Super GT300 class title in 2007 with Kazuya Oshima in the APR MR-S.

Ishiura currently competes in the Super GT series, driving for Cerumo. His Super GT career includes over 100 starts with multiple wins and podium finishes. He has driven for teams such as Tsuchiya, Kraft, and SARD in the past. Beyond domestic championships, Ishiura has also participated in international events such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours race, achieving class wins and podiums.

In recent years, while continuing his Super GT commitments, Ishiura has also taken on advisory roles within racing teams, sharing his extensive experience and knowledge. For example, in 2021, he served as a team advisor for Inging in Super Formula.
