David TJIPTOBIANTORO

David Tjiptobiantoro is an Indonesian racing driver who has made a name for himself in the world of GT racing. Born on December 15, 1975, his journey into motorsport began after purchasing a Ferrari 430 in 2009, which led to an unexpected invitation from Ferrari to enter the world of racing. He made his debut in the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific in 2012. In 2014, he secured his first podium finishes in the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific-Coppa Shell, with consecutive wins at Sepang Circuit in Malaysia.

In 2016, David partnered with Singaporean racer Gregory Teo to form T2 Motorsports, marking the first international racing team in Southeast Asia. Together, they participated in events like the Motul Sepang 12 Hours (AM Class) and the Blancpain GT Series Asia. Tjiptobiantoro's career highlights include a second-place finish in the Blancpain GT Series Asia (AM Class) at Sepang in 2017 and participation in the Total 24 Hours of Spa in 2018, where his team finished fourth in their class, earning him a "First Indonesian Driver in a 24-Hour Race" award.

More recently, David has been competing in the GT World Challenge Asia, showcasing his skills in a Ferrari 296 GT3 with Garage 75. According to Driver Database, Throughout his career, Tjiptobiantoro has achieved considerable success, with 18 wins, 41 podiums, 14 pole positions, and 11 fastest laps in 90 races started. In 2021, David married Indonesian actress Julie Estelle.
