Tom Kalender

Tom Kalender is rapidly emerging as one of Germany's brightest young talents in motorsport. Born on March 26, 2008, in Kirchen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Kalender began his racing journey in karts, quickly progressing through the ranks of ADAC series. His achievements include winning the ADAC Kart Masters in 2019 and securing the runner-up position in the German Junior Kart Championship in 2022.

Kalender made a significant leap into GT racing in 2024, joining the Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Team Landgraf Motorsport. In his debut season in the ADAC GT Masters, he partnered with Elias Seppänen, and together they clinched the championship title. At just 16 years, six months and 23 days old, Kalender became the youngest champion in the history of the ADAC GT Masters, breaking the previous record held by Kelvin van der Linde. His debut race in the ADAC GT Masters saw him finish on the podium, and he followed it up with a victory in the second race, making him the youngest winner in the series.

In 2025, Kalender is set to compete as an official Mercedes-AMG Junior in the DTM, marking another significant step in his burgeoning career. He is also the youngest driver in DTM history. Beyond racing, Kalender is still attending school and is known for his calm and focused approach, which contributes to his success on the track.
